Jala, pronounced however you want, seems to respond to the Jay sound best, but who knows. She is a black and white Pit Bull Terrier/mix who needs a few minutes to come out of her shell, then she wants to play! Jala is 2 years old, weighs 56 pounds and has a tail that wags non stop. It also feels like a whip when it hits your legs. She needs more practice learning how to walk calmly on a leash, but did much better after she had had some time to run about. She is a young dog who will need plenty of exercises, but she loves to play, so this is a good way for her to use up that energy. She has done well with the helper dogs here at Lollypop Farm, but of course, she must meet any dog already a part of your family. She probably will be best in a home with older children, but bring the gang out, talk with the counselors, and see if she might not be just the right fit for your family.
